Who Can apply?

A single or consortia of Indian “for profit” company (ies) - Small, Medium or Large, involved in R&D. An Indian Company is defined as one in which more than 51% of the ownership is by Indian citizens (including NRIs).The proposals can be made:

a. solely by in-house R&D unit(s) of industrial firms (DSIR recognized); or

b. jointly by Industry and National R&D organizations and Institutions; or collaborative projects of common interest to the concerned sector/are proposed by a group of industries/users, national research organizations etc.
